We all know that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. This lemonade is easy peasy lemon squeezy to make, contains loads of vitamin C and not too much sugar (although of course, you can add more). This quite a sour, grown-up lemonade – for kids, I would definitely add a few more spoonfuls of sugar.
5 x lemons
600 ml water
8 tsp sugar
- Put everything together in a blender and blend
- Pour through your sieve into a jug
- Taste – if you’d like it sweeter, simply stir in more sugary, if you’d like it more lemony, simply poor back into the blender and add another lemon.
- Serve with lots of ice. This will keep for a few days in a bottle in the fridge for an easy boost in vitamin C.
