Vitamin Boosting Lemonade

Lemonade recipe

We all know that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. This lemonade is easy peasy lemon squeezy to make, contains loads of vitamin C and not too much sugar (although of course, you can add more). This quite a sour, grown-up lemonade – for kids, I would definitely add a few more spoonfuls of sugar.

Serves 6

5 x lemons

600 ml water

8 tsp sugar

  1. Put everything together in a blender and blend
  2. Pour through your sieve into a jug
  3. Taste – if you’d like it sweeter, simply stir in more sugary, if you’d like it more lemony, simply poor back into the blender and add another lemon.
  4. Serve with lots of ice. This will keep for a few days in a bottle in the fridge for an easy boost in vitamin C.
